Bandidas Launches a Food Truck
$3660 Raised on Earth Day
It’s always been a dream of ours to be able to serve our community from beyond the four walls of our restaurant. Now we can bring healthy vegetarian options to festivals, parties, fundraisers, weddings, and wherever else you’ll have us. Bandidas now has a food truck!
Student Art Show for Earth Day
Thanks to you all, our 2nd major fundraiser this year was a huge success. We donated 100% of our profits from the sales on Earth Day, and partnered with our community and several other businesses to raise $3660 for RAVEN Trust’s Pull Together campaign
Welcome to the Family (New Menu Items)
We’ve launched a student art show alongside our fundraiser for RAVEN Trust’s Pull Together campaign. The works comes from three East Van classrooms whom we connected with after our Fireweed fundraiser and art show on Inauguration Day. The classes visited Bandidas to study art and its role in democracy, and returned to the classrooms to create their own works of response to the election results.
Announcing: Earth Day Fundraiser and Student Art Show at Bandidas
Over the past few months, we’ve been hard at work testing new possible ingredients and combinations in order to freshen up the Bandidas menu. After several brainstorming sessions, plenty of test batches, and even a fun tasting event, we’ve settled on a few exciting new additions.

$4000 Raised on Inauguration Day
It’s been a few years since we made any changes to the Bandidas menu, but this past fall we found ourselves playing around with a few new ingredients and combinations.
Fireweed Art Show
As many of you know, we held a fundraiser at Bandidas on January 20th, Inauguration Day. The fundraiser was sparked by the recent election of Donald Trump, and the clear message that emerged from that devastation: beliefs are insignificant if not paired with tangible, meaningful, and transformative actions. When we woke up on November 9th, we knew that as a society we had work to do.
Announcing: Inauguration Day Fundraiser and Art Show at Bandidas
Over 30 artists have submitted pieces that respond to the U.S. election results, for this show, which launched Inauguration Day. We've dubbed this art show "fireweed" as a commitment to focusing in renewal, regrowth, and rebuilding in the midst of despair.
